Our vision is the unified spiritual Bride of Christ, living and representing the gospel of God’s plan of salvation for humanity. Our mission is to nurture the church family as a spiritual organism, feeding the flock and sharing the gospel.
It is easy to feel listless when observing our seemingly unfixable world and experiencing our personal plans being thwarted. Yet we have joyful purpose. At the Feast of Tabernacles we have temporary dwellings to remind us that we are not from here – we are sojourning. Rather, we are citizens of God’s Kingdom. That’s our home. It is already established, and it will overcome all the kingdoms of human kind. So what are we to do now? We are ambassadors of the Kingdom of God. 1.) An ambassador is an expert in everything there is to know about his country. 2.) An ambassador personifies his home country – in presentation, action and indeed character. 3.) An ambassador is singularly focused on advancing the interests of his home country, by winning favor and sharing knowledge with discretion. Our day-to-day tasks – work, school, administration – are merely excuses for interaction with the foreigners amongst whom we are deployed. Every day you have a mission-critical function – to represent the coming Kingdom of God as Christ’s ambassadors.
