ChatGPT is taking the world by storm. In just a few months after its launch over 100 million people had interreacted with it. All manner of companies are racing to build artificial intelligence into their products. Before long, you won’t be able to do any activity on the Internet without interacting with an AI of some kind.
And yet these chatbots or AI, despite scanning the entire internet, aren’t capable of deciphering right answers from wrong ones.
While powerful, ChatGPT and other AIs are, at their core, simply a new way of reorganizing human information found on the internet.
This computer program can only reflect what it has learned about languages and subjects of all types and parrot it back to us, there is no outside perspective here.
