Something positive to report — CBS TV’s This Morning aired a clip of an example of good sportsmanship and neighborliness.
It happened at the opening of Tuesday night’s hockey game in Toronto, Canada between Toronto’s Maple Leafs and America’s Nashville Predators.
The soloist’s microphone failed just as she started singing The Star-Spangled Banner. So, “without missing a beat, the Toronto fans stepped in” and sang the rest of America’s national anthem, This Morning’s co-host reported.
