According to Deutsche Welle (DW) TV and other media sources, the UK Independence Party is expected to gain a second seat in England’s parliament in a local election today.

“Britain’s UKIP secures first seat in House of Commons”
DW stated in the article that,
“In results announced early on Friday, euroskeptic candidate Douglas Carswell won 21,113 votes – 60 percent of ballots cast – gaining more than twice as many votes as his nearest rival.”
But, the trend has been decidedly different in the EU.
