Our vision is the unified spiritual Bride of Christ, living and representing the gospel of God’s plan of salvation for humanity. Our mission is to nurture the church family as a spiritual organism, feeding the flock and sharing the gospel.
A lack of patience can be a problem. It’s a factor and trait that the world seems to have less and less of with each and every year. Each year, man appears less tolerant to waiting and understanding matters before acting. What about patience? Should we have it or should we imitate the way of the world? Should we strive to have it or should we assimilate toward the world’s inclinations, which are more pointedly Satan’s way. With the lack of impatience in the world, we in the Churches of God can often grow weary, wondering when God will indeed send His Son back to this earth to put into effect the government we have waited for. Do we lose patience in waiting for God? When will we see Christ return? And now we face this apparent gulf between the Fall Holy Days and the Spring Holy Days. In all of that, have we ever considered what the world would be like if God wasn’t patient in His plan for mankind? Did we ever take the time during our meditation with God to think on how long He and the Word must have waited for their plan of salvation and their thoughts to create beings in their likeness and image? They had the “patience factor”!
Today, let us look at how God looks at the patience factor and how, in dealing with His physical creation, He has built into His plan the need to wait; to have patience.
