The Medium is the Message
The world today values information far more than wisdom. Collecting and controlling information is quite literally seen as the savior of mankind. But it’s nothing more than a false god, designed by the god of this world to deceive and destroy. Digital media has facilitated the rapid adoption of ideas that are detrimental to the health of any society. Not only is it effectively changing what is truth, but the very conception of what truth even means. Likewise, it tears down healthy authority structures, and replaces it with what is essentially masked anarchy. These powerful yet subtle messages can affect the people of God as well, so we must be aware of the dangers as well as ensuring we are continually connected to the source of truth.
