The Administration of Justice
Injustice causes societal upheaval, and humanity is experiencing that turmoil with increasing velocity and intensity. Mankind’s attempts at implementing justice are all (essentially) systems to balance self-interest; but that balance eventually tips, causing the system to fail. In contrast, biblical justice is self-sacrificial, rooted in love, motivated to restore, and seen in practical service to the best interest of others. This justice is fundamental to our role, as followers of Christ, to prepare for our future responsibilities in the Millennium, where physical and spiritual Israel will model and teach God’s justice to the world. Ultimately, Christ’s sacrifice exemplifies the heart of divine justice, calling us to align with God’s ways and prepare to administer justice in His Kingdom.
