Self-Sufficiency or Humility
A prime lesson to be learned from the Day of Atonement is the need to be growing in humility.
The opposite is the sin of pride and self-sufficiency and when trusting self rather than God, we will grow in fear and anxiety.
God is our maker and sustainer and we need to be pursuing that trust and faith in Him and glory in understanding and knowing God.
