Repentance… Do We Really Need It?
We are all aware of the corruption that can jump on or enter humankind. We have seen it displayed in a number of situations… how easy it is for humans to just let go and relay their true thoughts through actions. It is as if the world is moving without conscience. For the people of God, it is fortunate that we have a conscience, and it is indeed a blessing to have it, but we are not necessarily immune to the influence and contamination from our own engagement with the dirt and filth of this world.
The Bible refers to this contamination and influence as sin. It is deadly. Without something miraculous occurring, we will all die in our sins. That “something” is repentance. But do we need repentance? Today we attempt to answer that question.
