Recognizing the Season
Prophecy can be an awkward subject for most of us, largely due to the weird and wrongheaded approaches verbalized by a few. But God gave prophecy to strengthen our faith and encourage us, so we shouldn’t downplay it. We should use prophecy to recognize the season and prepare, not to predict dates. Based on a variety of simple prophecies in the Bible compared to what we can observe in our current surroundings, we can be confident that we are in the end times.
