Pentecost, a Day of Salvation
What is one of the greatest of Satan’s deceptions? It is that today (in the singular sense) is the only day of salvation. The truth, however, is far more expansive and hopeful. God’s plan of salvation, expressed through His Holy Days- the Feast of Pentecost in particular- speaks to today being “a”day of salvation. It pictures a small early harvest of firstfruits into God’s family. Those in that harvest will, then, assist Christ in a much larger harvest to follow. The key factor in qualifying to assist Christ then will be in learning to be led by the Holy Spirit now.
