November 8, 2023 – The surgery went well and if all goes as planned, Marshall should be able to have limited use of his thumb in 6 weeks. The pain level is being moderated by a combination of painkillers. Thanks to all for their prayers and concern, it is greatly appreciated.
November 7, 2023 – During surgery a crushed knuckle and a pin in the thumb were treated. Marshall and Joyce were able to return home around midnight. The pain level is quite high.
November 6, 2023 – Marshall Siver had an accident today while using a wood splitter machine at his home. His thumb on the right hand was seriously injured. He has been transported to Rapid City for surgery. Will update when more is known, meanwhile your prayers would be appreciated.
