French president François Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met in Berlin, on March 31, 2015.
Deutsche Welle (DW) chief political correspondent, Melinda Crane, who attended the press conference after the meeting, said on The Journal, DW TV’s news program, that the main focus at the “joint cabinet meetings” was “military and defense”.
Ms. Crane added, “There has been a lot of talk in the past about European defense cooperation. It looks like there is now a greater willingness, thanks to the Ukraine crisis, to follow up the words with deeds.
